On Sept 3, 2024 – I decided to post a small portion of my story and experiences to Glitches In The Matrix FB Group. If The Phone Lady could take a beating, so could I.
I wasn’t expecting much, but with age comes thicker skin. I’ve survived a lot, I can survive ridicule.
But to my surprise, it wasn’t like that at all. People were genuinely invested and many others shared their experiences. I was blown away.
I provided as many updates as I could and tried to answer as many comments as possible. However, FB is PITA and comments don’t load correctly. It makes things difficult to keep up with.
Then I was sent a link to another larger group, Matrix Mysteries. Right in the thick of things, FB zaps the post out of existence. Poof, gone. However, the owner of the group, Admin Devon, was awesome! He figured out the issue and got the post back up for me.
Recurring comments across both group posts centered around “write a book”, “make a movie”, “put this on TikTok.” It’s flattering, but I wouldn’t even know where to start.
Until someone mentioned a blog. That sounded simple enough. Not too time consuming and something I can take breaks from when I feel overwhelmed.
So, That’s Not Me was born.
If you’re not in those groups, you should be Glitches In The Matrix / Matrix Mysteries
