Arm rings?

My adult daughter (21) has always had these weird rings around both her forearms, and around both her upper thighs.

I call them rings because idk what else to call them. Identical markings, symmetrical to one another, and a tad bit different complexion than the rest of her skin tone. (See pics for the sort of reverse tan line)

These ‘rings’ actually stand up off the skin just a tad bit, in a way that if the light catches it just right, it is a ridge. Like a thin bracelet under the skin

Growing up she always joked that it looks like “they did a bad job reattaching my limbs to my body.”

Recently, while getting my 2.5 year old grandson dressed (her son) I noticed he has them too! Same exact locatjon, on both forearms and upper thighs. His looks exactly like hers did when she was his age.

Yes, she’s been to the doc and dermatologist.

✔️ We never got an answer for what it is and it was never a concern. Just sort of brushed off as “well that’s odd.” 16 years ago the dermatologist said it didn’t meet the criteria for Blaschko lines. At the time I didn’t ask what the criteria was as I’d never even heard about it.

✔️ They are not AA lines. He does have AA line creases near the bend of his elbow PLUS the rings. She does not have AA lines at all.

✔️ They aren’t remnants of baby/toddler fat rolls. She was a very petite baby and didn’t have those rolls. And even at his heaviest (9 months) he didnt have forearm rolls either.

✔️ She’s never had a genetics test for Chimerism. But as far as we know, she was not a twin and neither was her son. And neither of them have ever had a transplant.

I posted this in a very large FB group a while back and only found 2 other ppl who shared pics showing they have these exact rings.

Does anyone here have this?
