This is a Schedule B from a Title Company I used when I purchased land. It’s the “Exceptions From Coverage” page.

Everything redacted in red, isn’t me. it’s my name, and somehow attached to me. But it’s not me.

Since I wasn’t financing the purchase of the land, it’s not an issue.

But should I ever decided to sell the land, these are judgments against “me”, preventing me from having a clean Title to resell.

I’ve never seen them before sitting down with this Title Compnay, and have zero knowledge of them ever even existing.

I searched the online court website with the case numbers.

These are legit cases. These are Landlord judgments from Apartment rental companies. Skipping out on leases, notice to vacate on eviction, property damage, etc.

However, none of these are on my credit report. And none of these locations/addresses in the court docs are attached to my social security number as previous addresses.

During this time period (2018-2021) my family and I lived in the same home for 5 years, starting in 2017, and moving into my current home in 2022.

We have never lived in any of these apartments or rented at all from any of these property companies.

The Title company was less than helpful and with every question I asked, they just acted like it wasn’t a problem since there’s no financing involved and basically told me to handle it later and that “if this isn’t you, it should be easy enough to prove to have it removed.”

Okay…but WHO removes these types of things? And remove it from WHERE?

I have no idea what’s even happening.
