This weekend I’m home alone, 2 of my kiddos and grandbaby went 4 hours South to visit their Dad and his family for the holidays.

When my unit is scattered around, I don’t sleep well.

Around 2:30am, my little house dog and I sat up in the bed to the knocking sound. I grabbed my phone to record, but decided to listen through the front porch camera instead.

For 15 mins I screen recorded. At first the knocking wasn’t very close together, so the recording went on for a while. Closer to the end, it was more repetitious.

So this morning I took the 15 min video and cut out the non-knocking parts to shorten the length and to get a better listen of the actual knocking.

It’s been raining here off and on for several days, so you can hear water drops landing on the crisp leaves on the ground…but those random drip sounds and the knocking are not one in the same.

These knocking sounds are the same ones that I recorded from inside the house late Sept around 10:45pm

• Only hear it at night
• 10:45pm and 2:30am, no consistent time.
• Different Days of the week.
• Rainy, foggy, clear, – the weather doesn’t matter
• Slight wind or no wind.
• Fall and Winter

Still no clue what it is and can’t narrow down any consistent elemental or time pattern.

So we keep waiting.
