A very strange thing happened yesterday that’s never happened before.

My 2 and a half year old grandson was doing what toddlers do, digging through the toy box in his room at my house, to bring all the things to the living room.

My daughter was sitting on the couch and he brings her an unopened box of books asking her to open them.

She gets my attention and says “are these new? I’ve never seen them before. Where did they come from?”

I look up from what I’m doing, and realize she’s holding a small travel box of Dr Seuss board books.

I’m taken aback and immediately ask my grandson where he got that from and to show me.

My daughter opened the box for the first time and got the books out for my grandson to look at.

This is the book set…shown here is 3 out of the 4 books (because he was playing with one)

The reason this is of significance to me….the day before I was scrolling Amazon, thinking about Christmas ideas, and I saw this book set and added it to my Amazon list to purchase later as gift for him.

And for good measure to make sure I haven’t lost my marbles, this is my most recent Amazon orders for the past 2 weeks.

None of us have ever seen this brand new, unopened box set before and we have no idea where it came from.
