Absolutely Not Going Out There

The one night I try to go to sleep at a decent time 🙄.

Now I feel bad for dismissing my middle (adult) child late at night when she’d come into my room all in a panic:

“MOM! Do you hear that knocking?!”

— Girl go to sleep!

“I can’t the knocking is freaking me out!”

I cannot count how many times, since I built this house, she has had me check the outside for any signs of something that could be knocking.

Now look at me. She’s moved out into her first grownup place and I’m wide awake hearing this knocking.

Update: 9/23/24 @ 8:50am

Sent the vid to my daughter this morning. Surely there’s an explanation for 2 years worth of phantom knocking, but so far, I’ve got nothing.

      It’s been bugging me since and I still haven’t found out the source. Nothing touches my house. No limbs, or bushes, or shrubs. Nothing on the roof that can be loose. Cant figure it out at all.

        Reading your blog posts, starting to have theories that all these noises etc are not from this world or this time, maybe another dimension?

        I think the external cameras are a good idea, see if you can try and capture what is making the noise. Do they do something like infrared cameras that pick up shapes and heat patterns?

    Hi there, I found your blog posts from the matrix group on fb, and have been reading through them in chronological order. You speak on your experiences so eloquently, and I find myself feeling almost as if you’re an old friend that I’m catching up with (through reading your posts). This one freaked me out a bit, for two reasons: one, I watched your video on this post, and right when you turned the phone to your clock on the stand that said 10:48, I looked at the current time on my phone, which was also 10:48 😳 that one is probably just a freaky coincidence lol. But the other thing, was something that happened to me this past Tuesday night. My boyfriend was out of town in Orlando for the week, so I was home alone. I have insomnia and finally fell asleep right around 2am, with my light on next to the bed. At 2:22am, I was jolted out of my sleep by three hard raps on my window. I felt like I was going to have a heart attack from fear and from being startled awake in that manner. I panicked, and couldn’t move. My mind was telling me to turn the light off, so I could see if there was a shadow of a person outside that window, but my mind was also telling me to be still and not react, because if I turned the light on, they would for sure know I was there and I had this overwhelming foreboding feeling. So I just laid there for thirty minutes, not moving so much as a muscle. I could hear my heart thumping in my ears and feel it in my face and every other part of my body. I looked at my Apple Watch readings the next morning, and my heart rate was 45 at 2:15am (while sleeping), and was between 146-188 from 2:22-2:56am, then it went down to the 60’s, and I was back to sleep shortly afterwards. Something else that was strange about the whole thing, is that we live in a duplex, and on the other side of my room is our driveway, and then another duplex right next door. They have a pitbull named Amanda, and any time we walk up the driveway or pull in with the car, she does her loud, deep bark. Their side of the duplex and window she barks at is about 10-15 feet from my window, and she didn’t make a peep. It made me feel like I was crazy, because if someone rapped that loudly on my window, surely it would’ve woken her and caused her to bark, but only silence. So I started questioning myself, was I maybe dreaming? But I always vividly remember my dreams, and had just barely fallen asleep when it happened. I called my boyfriend and told him about it, and he was wondering if someone had been watching the house, and realized I was alone because his car was no longer there and I parked in the driveway rather than the street. I’ve been so uneasy every night since, waiting for it to happen again. Sorry for the long ramble, it just felt like the right place to share this. I hope you’re doing well, and that your injuries are healing. Peace and love sweet friend that I do not even know 🫶🏼♥️

      This sounds terrifying. I think you did the right thing by not switching off the light, or going to see who was out there.
